My latest solar images

[2018/05/04] A new group just appeared in the SE hemisphere, three tiny spots without penumbras. On the E limb some beautiful prominences – at least one eruptive and two quiescent ones – are displayed and they form a fine sight even at low powers.

The Mediterranean cyclone responsible of the storms and of the heavy rains of the last days is passing but many clouds and high altitude winds made today’s imaging really challenging.
